I’ll look at myself in the mirror and I’ll suddenly hear this voice:

“This girl is so naive. About everything.”

The only 2 people who I might imagine saying that is yourself, or the enemy. But the thing is, we don’t need to be jaded (which I take be the opposite of naive). I think it’s rather better to be naive than Jaded– we are to have a childlike faith in our Father; and that requires a certain amount of innocence, and naivete. Maybe you don’t know what’s out there, what’s actually needed to accomplish your dreams, how bad people are and how difficult your struggles will be. But you know, you probably haven’t quite realized how deep is God’s neverending love, how great his mercy, and God surely knows what’s out there, how evil people are, what it will take to accomplish your dreams and how He will achieve them.
Maybe that girl looking at you from the mirror IS naive, and I don’t think it really matters. It’s not our place to know and understand the world in it’s stark cold reality– that’s why God is there, so we don’t have to. We’ll come across it, and we’ll have to face it, sure, but God will be doing most of the work, and God will be with us all the way. All we have to do is trust Him.
Of course that’s much easier said than done, myself included, but I think being naive a little bit, every once in a while is alright Em.

Thou you know what I will advice to you
but I’ll make it different now.
Supposedly I will agree on what you say that you are naive
then here’s a message of God: 1 Corinthians 1:27
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
So be happy
